For the last six years, COMPAC® has been a presence at KBIS, the largest international trade fair for the Kitchen & Bath sector. Las Vegas was the city chosen to host the exciting event this year. It showcased the sector’s new trends, products and avant-garde designs. With over 1,800 exhibitors from all over the world, this year’s edition welcomed 110,000 professional visitors from the residential design and construction sectors. All admired the design, excellent positioning and innovative content of COMPAC® products.
Illustrating the company’s philosophy of Minds Over Matter, were two spectacular stands of Quartz COMPAC® and Terrazzo COMPAC.®. They showed how with minds and talent, and working with the best professionals in the sector, COMPAC® is capable of turning simple materials into authentic, ground-breaking,unique pieces.
These stands have shown the synergy between Quartz COMPAC® and Terrazzo COMPAC® materials. As a result, their dual nature and infinite applications were amply displayed. Exclusive pieces were used to illustrate this. They were created by renowned international artists and designers Arik Levy and Elisa Ossino.

Quartz COMPAC® innovations at KBIS 2023
Quartz COMPAC®, is an interior design material par excellence, with enormous chromatic diversity. The veins that run deeply through every design, showed the incredible technological innovations at the stand. These included the Ice Green™ design where visitors could experiment with Bookmatch and its ‘mirror effect.’ This makes Quartz COMPAC® designs even more spectacular allowing the creation of more versatile patterns. They produce a stunning effect on any surface showing the start and finish of the veins to perfection. Similarly, they show the depth of the design, unique in the market.

The centrepiece of the stand was the sculptural indoor countertop, QuartzRock Viola by Arik Levy. Made from Ice Viola™, it is one of the new designs along with Ice Ink™, Ice Green™ and Ice Gold™ that make up the Ice of Genesis collection created by Arik Levy. This designer was recently honoured with the RED DOT Best of the Best 2022 award.

At KBIS 2023 COMPAC® confirms its position as industry leader at KBIS 2023
At KBIS 2023, COMPAC® confirmed its position as a leader in the sector by presenting TERRAZZO COMPAC® High Performance Stone (HPS). This revolutionary smart material has been reinvented to enhance the features of traditional terrazzo. As such, Its beauty and performance make it the material of the future for indoor and outdoor surfaces.
Its enormous versatility is evident in its Petra, Classic and Micro collections. These can be applied on all types of surfaces. In the Micro collection, the Lineal and Sierra textures in particular attracted KBIS 2023 visitors. Their ability to imbue spaces with freshness, purity and versatility was clearly notable.

Rhea, an artwork created by the renowned Italian architect and interior designer Elisa Ossino presided over the Terrazzo COMPAC® High Performance Stone (HPS) stand. Made with the Petra Boticcino design, this exclusive piece was inspired by the columns and volumes of buildings of classical antiquity. It was created from a single 8-tonne block of Terrazzo COMPAC® which highlighted its qualities for outdoor environments and its infinite applications.
