Yesterday, the city of Aventura, Miami-Dade County, celebrated the opening of COMPAC’s latest US showroom. The brand is seeking to position itself as a benchmark for design and the latest trends in this new space, while introducing what its materials have to offer.
The multinational company organised a presentation event hosted by the Florida Design magazine that was attended by hundreds of people, many of whom came from the worlds of interior design and architecture. Although the showroom has been open to the general public since June, the company chose to celebrate this opening last night as a step in its expansion plans across the US, where it has already opened premises in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
The Aventura showroom is located next to other companies including Scavolini, Visser, Eurocucina, Barausse and La Cuisine. This interesting union between different brands in the kitchen, bathroom and general design sectors, all exhibiting in the same space, offers a wide selection aimed at professionals in the city.
All the design touches in the new COMPAC showroom have been carefully selected, in line with the interior design and atmosphere on display in all the brand’s offices and showrooms around the world. The site enables visitors to the brand’s entire quartz and technological marble designs up-close. The emblematic Unique and Ice of Genesis collections have a standout presence in the premises, where visitors also have the chance to admire an exclusive piece created by renowned designer Arik Levy—the Quartz Rock worktop fashioned in the enhanced Ice Black™ design (Ice Black Zoom). This 850-kilo sculpture has been placed in the showroom window so the entire city can enjoy the artistic creation.
The design and construction of the showroom use different brand designs, including the large table presiding over the entire space fashioned from Unique Argento™, part of the UNIQUE collection. This is where the COMPAC team welcome and advise professionals visiting the premises. In addition, samples from all the company’s collections have been hung on the walls so that visitors can appreciate the finishes, colours and textures. Lighting plays a central role in the showroom by helping to bring the materials to life; there is also a large screen set into one of the walls—made from the Unique Marquina™ design—to show visitors some of the projects and applications incorporating COMPAC quartz and marble.
